About the event
Sophie Pelletier is a Quebec singer-songwriter and producer, born on November 27, 1986 in Rivière-Ouelle. She became known to the general public during her participation in Star Académie in 2012 , where she was a finalist.
During the show, she impressed viewers with her talent and powerful voice, performing songs such as "Tue-moi" by Dan Bigras and "Sarah sans sourire," one of her original compositions. She sang with artists such as Lionel Richie and Mika.
After Star Académie, Sophie Pelletier continued her musical career, releasing albums and EPs. She also founded her own music company, Joseph Musique. Alongside her artistic career, she returned to school in the fall of 2020 to become a high school teacher, graduating in 2024. She also leads a project called "Victoire Musique," where she teaches the basics of songwriting to young people in schools and youth centers.
